Motherhood

New & Expecting Moms

You have not showered in days, there is spit up all over your shirt, and you are not sure when you last ate a real meal. You spend a lot of your day worrying if you are doing things right. You can’t seem to get rid of that voice inside of your head telling you that you are not good enough. The days blend into one and although you love your child more than words can say, you can’t help but feel lost. You look in the mirror and wonder, ‘Who am I?”.

You Matter

Motherhood is a right of passage. When a child is born, so is the mother. Our society often expects mothers to 'bounce back' quickly after birth. This impossible standard encourages mothers to strive to return to a version of themselves that no longer exists. Here at RTC we are saying no more. We recognize the experience of matrescence and the transformative potential that exists within it. Motherhood changes you and that is ok. Together we can embrace the chaos and acknowledge the change in order to find a way forward.
